1. Our Mission
Eat With Your Eyes is a community for authentic food discovery. We connect people with great restaurants through honest reviews, real video experiences, and the stories of creators who are passionate about food. Every piece of content on this platform should help someone find their next favorite meal.2. Content Standards
- Only share content based on your actual, first-hand experiences
- Photos and videos must be your own original content or properly credited
- Do not pass off stock photos or others' content as your personal experience
- No AI-generated reviews or fabricated experiences
- Content must be related to food, restaurants, or cooking
- Represent yourself and your affiliations honestly
3. Review Integrity
- Only post reviews for restaurants you have personally visited
- Ratings must reflect your actual dining experience — not personal vendettas
- If you received a complimentary meal or incentive, you must clearly disclose it
- Accepting payment for a positive review without disclosure is prohibited
- Restaurant owners may not review their own establishments
4. Creator Program Standards
- Clearly and prominently disclose any paid, gifted, or sponsored content (FTC compliance)
- Sponsored content must reflect your honest opinion — no scripted fake enthusiasm
- You must personally visit the restaurant for any restaurant-related content
- Only accept campaigns from restaurants you would genuinely recommend
- Your authentic voice is your most valuable asset — protect it
5. Restaurant & Business Standards
- Keep hours, menus, prices, and contact details accurate and up to date
- Do not create misleading or unredeemable deals or promotions
- Respond to reviews professionally — no harassment or retaliation against reviewers
- Do not create fake accounts or solicit fake reviews to inflate ratings
6. Community Behavior
- Treat all community members with respect
- No harassment, bullying, threats, or hate speech
- No discrimination based on race, ethnicity, gender, religion, sexuality, disability, or any protected characteristic
- Constructive criticism is welcome; personal attacks are not
- Do not spam, manipulate engagement metrics, or coordinate inauthentic behavior
- No doxxing or sharing others' private information without consent
7. Prohibited Content
- Sexually explicit or pornographic material
- Content promoting violence, self-harm, or dangerous activities
- Illegal activities or substances
- Malware, phishing links, or scams
- Content infringing intellectual property rights
- False or misleading health and safety claims about food
- Content designed to deceive or manipulate users or partners
8. Food Safety
- Do not promote unsafe food handling or preparation practices
- Include allergen warnings in recipe content where relevant
- Report genuine food safety concerns to your local health authority
- Do not encourage dangerous food challenges
9. Intellectual Property
- Do not repost others' content without their permission
- Credit original creators when referencing or sharing their work
- Use restaurant branding respectfully and only in the context of legitimate content

10. Enforcement
Violations result in: warning → content removal → temporary suspension → permanent ban.Severe violations (threats, illegal content, child safety) result in immediate removal and may be reported to authorities.
You can appeal any moderation decision within 30 days by emailing support@eatwithyoureyes.app. Use the in-app report button to flag violations — we review all reports within 48 hours.
11. Creator-Specific Enforcement
- Creator Program violations may result in loss of creator status
- Undisclosed sponsored content leads to immediate Creator Program suspension
- Fake engagement or metric manipulation results in a permanent ban from the Creator Program
- Campaign fraud may result in financial penalties in addition to platform consequences
